Producers Airbird & Napolian share the second single from their approaching debut album. Of the record's 10 tracks, "Only You" shows the boys' vision for the project crystalize most precisely: laser-guided keys cut between breathy vocal samples, while rough-hewn drum parts snap assertively underneath. It has been a trippie trip, sort of a dream come true, sort of a dream become shattered. Kinda incredible how Korallreven, with this weird name in Swedish snowballed from bedroom recordings in Stockholm into a headlining US tour, festivals around Europe, amazing collaborations and all this love we have felt from all around. It's been magic, but there is a time for everything and an end to everything too, also with Korallreven.
So, enjoy this single, as you would the last drop of fresh water in the jungle. It sort of underlines exactly everything we wanted to do from the beginning but never yet achieved. Lifelovingness, big words and melancholy in three and a half minutes, for the last time.

In 1997, London producers House of 909 released The Children We Were – an album of rolling, midtempo house gems that were as evocative as they were posh. Like many worthy releases of their day, the record was embraced by a niche audience, but overlooked on a larger scale
Next month Cascine will reissue The Children We Were on limited edition vinyl. The material has been remastered, the artwork redone and the record repackaged. Preorder the record here and listen to the first single on Dummy
Excited to be doing an album with our friend Mark McGuire under his pop alias, The Road Chief. The record's first single 'Summer Eyes' is a bouyant summer jam written when Mark was living in LA and working on a film score. “During the day, I’d get little breaks and just drive around North Hollywood smoking weed and listening to the early mixes of the tracks. Those days were all about bright, sunny midday vibes, glass sparkling-water bottles, coconut milk shampoo, sunscreen smells, the leather interior of the car getting hot in the sun...glimpses like that.”
