Following her debut EP in 2018, Claire releases single “Alone, Together" to cover the various seasons in the lifecycle of a failed relationship, with the titular phrase shifting meaning over the course of the song, tipping the scale from an expression of obsession and passion to one of hollowness and defeat.

The title track appears alongside an alternate version, co-produced by Josh Burgess of Yumi Zouma. “I started playing this song at shows as a piano ballad over a year ago,” Claire explains. “Josh came to one of my shows and saw me play it live, and he approached me about recording the song together. In our session, the song began to take on a different energy than that of the ballad I'd originally written. I thought it would be interesting to create a duality not only within the song, but also by releasing two versions of it to express the two meanings of the phrase.”
